Old Folk Tales from the country that pertain to Christmas
Who or What is responsible for delivering the gifts?
Where do they leave gifts?
What things do the people look forward to as gifts?
What is the traditional Christmas meal?
When do they celebrate the Christmas holiday?
What type of clothing could I expect to see from your country? Can you find a picture?
What songs/music go with your Christmas Country? Can you find videos or recordings?
What vocabulary words can you teach us from your research? You and your friends create a display of vocabulary words to display in the hallway to teach us.
Find a map and locate the country. Be choosy about the map. Don't just let any map do. Find one that will be a good model for showing where your country is located.
Each Digital piece is worth 50 points. That will equal 150 points. This is not bonus. This is required pieces of work. I will give you a better break down of how it will be graded the week of November 18-22.
Bonus
You are welcome to claim part of the hallway to collaborate with a group of friends to create a hall display. Five in a group is plenty. You must get permission from a teacher before printing to their printer. If you feel the need to have more than five in a group, you must ask permission. Total bonus points will be worth 50 extra points. The quality of the work and your contribution will ensure whether you get the full 50 points. Messy ill prepared work will not receive full credit.
